For this reason, we rely on a specially developed oil pump that provides the oil pressure in every speed range increased and protects the engine from wear. Timing chain instead of timing belt In addition to the oil pump being undersized, the factory drive by a toothed belt is responsible for most engine damage. The rubber belt runs in the oil and tends not only to break but also contaminates the engine oil with harmful rubber abrasion from the very first rotation. Therefore, we replace the oil pump's toothed belt with the proven timing chain, ensuring a wear-free drive and clean engine oil in the future. Reinforced pistons When driven with increased performance or sportily, this engine tends to suffer from piston damage in the ring zone area. It is not uncommon for oil consumption to reach 0.5L/1000km or more, and compression as well as power decrease significantly.
